ES Appoints New Ski School Director in Zermatt

We are proud to announce our New Ski School Director in Zermatt: Andy Eglin. Andy has a long track record in management, is a Swiss Patent and an experienced racer. Andy is looking forward to the challenges in Zermatt. ES’s operation in Zermatt will be a small team of pro’s dedicated to matching ES Verbier’s reputation for fun and quality. Azzurra Sport’s (ES Host Shop) manager Viviana Cafasso, said “Andy is very out-going and will be a natural leader for our young ski school. European Snowsport is delighted to continue our relationship with Azzurra Sport who offer one of the most friendly personal services in Zermatt. A family run store Azzurra benefits from being right between both Lifts leaving Zermatt.

Rumours of Snow!

Rumour has it that, it’s going to snow for four days starting tomorrow!. 40 cm of snow is supposed to fall tomorrow, with more coming in the following days. European Snowsport has started training it’s next intake of instructors in Lac Du Vaux, Group leader Roddy Willis, said ” the groups off to a good start with some beginning to get a good feeling for their skis”. The early focus is to work on balance and basic skills.
